REGISTERED (RMT)
Wholehealth Therapeutic Centre is currently seeking for candidates to fill up 3 positions for Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) to join our growing team. Both experienced and new graduate RMTs are welcome and encouraged to apply. This will be a permanent position for the right candidates.
The RMT will share our vision by demonstrating a strong customer service philosophy, a positive and inclusive attitude, sensitivity to the needs of a diverse clientele and commitment to the highest quality of service.
Our Registered Massage Therapists are provided with all the tools and support they need to treat clients with the utmost care and maximize the impact on the client’s health and well-being.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide soft body tissue massage for injury treatment, discomfort relief, release of muscle tension, wellness maintenance and relief of medical conditions

Develop treatment plans to restore, reinforce and enhance productivity, performance and vitality

Evaluate patient’s health condition and personalize treatments considering massage types, treatment areas and treatment frequency

Refer clients to other professionals when appropriate

Assess patient’s response to treatment and modify goals accordingly
-
Act as an advocate for the patient to ensure all needs are met

Accurately record patient’s condition and progress
-
Treat patients with respect and dignity
-
Effectively communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, TCM practitioners and administrators.

REQUIREMENTS:
-
A two year – diploma from a recognized massage therapy school
-
Member in good standing with one of the following associations:
Remedial Massage Therapists Association (RMTA)
Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA)
Natural Health Care Practitioners of Canada (NHPC)
Alberta Association of Therapeutic Masseurs (AATM)

Must have personal liability insurance
