LICENSED PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Wholehealth Therapeutic Centre is currently seeking for candidates to fill up 3 positions for Physiotherapists (PTs) to join our growing team. Both experienced and new graduate Physiotherapists are welcome and encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to have their vision for treatment room setup and choice of equipment realized.

The PT will share our vision by demonstrating a strong customer service philosophy, a positive and inclusive attitude, sensitivity to the needs of a diverse clientele and commitment to the highest quality of service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance productivity, performance and vitality.

  • Evaluate patient’s health condition; apply diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests.

  • Develop plans and strategies for rehabilitation that will be aligned with the patient’s goals. Adjust subsequent treatments based of progress and need.

  • Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patients and speed recovery.

  • Instruct, educate and train patients in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient’s health and independence.

  • Assess patient’s response to treatment and modify goals accordingly.

  • Act as an advocate for the patient to ensure all needs are met.

  • Accurately record patient’s condition and progress.

  • Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, acupuncturists, massage therapists, TCM practitioners and administrators

 

REQUIREMENTS:

​

  • Graduate of an accredited PT program in Canada

  • Active PT license

  • 6+ months of recent and relevant experience as PT practitioner

  • CPR certification

  • References
